Hey bookish boozers!

Sam here. We were drunkenly chit chatting the other day, and we thought it would be hilarious to do a March Madness bracket, but with fictional characters. It was just an drunk idea… but then… it wasn’t. One thing lead to another and now we have a bracket and a schedule and it’s gonna be awesome.

Here’s how it works:

• There are 16 characters from a variety of books (mostly SFF). The divisions are The Smart Ones, The Dumb Ones, The Jocks, and The Goths.
• Minda, Ginny, and I go and FaceTime our long lost Parker (not lost, just on hiatus because he’s going to get smart and shit) and convince him to join in the fun!
• We’re all gonna get drunk and write out our arguments about who would win in a bar fight. If they were drunk in a bar… who would win.
• THEN we’re gonna ask you on Twitter (here) who YOU think would win. Based on the results, we’ll make the next week’s bracket and so on and so forth.

Without further ado… Here’s the bracket!

Bar fights begin on March 11th and will end April 1… the champion to be announced on NCAA Championship Game Day, April 6th.

We will also have a GIVEAWAY! Throughout the month, comment below each Bar Fight week with who YOU think would win. If you’ve commented on 2 of the 4 weeks’ posts and follow this blog, you’ll be entered into a giveaway for any of the books listed in this bracket. International is ok if Book Depository or Wordery delivers to you!
